Drivers shortages as the global problem
In MOREUS we pay a lot of attention to the systemic shortages of drivers without whom this global economy bloodstream will not deliver its fruits when and where they are needed. For that we believe that this challenge shall be treated by joint actions of the European Community as this refers to the threat halting its global development. Hoping that every country will manage that individually is probably not the solution someone could call as the one at the hight of available intellectual capacities and this sectors deserves more of efforts. Its is clear that there are means and solutions available for the benefit of the society as a whole.
On European markets diversity
Some experts I had a pleasure to talk and appreciate state that transport sector is a kind of commodity – so of the very homogenous characteristics – which many of us may agree. Common argumentation used is that they drive same trucks, the same trailers, the same fuel, the same tyres etc. Nevertheless after working 15 years in the consultancy services offered to the international transport sector on the territory of entire Europe I believe that especially international long-haul transport on each and every market is as much different as people inhabiting its region with their values, motivations and beliefs.
